Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2014-15 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Nichols Announces Dean's List for Fall Term
More than 400 Nichols students have earned Dean's List or Dean's High Honors during the just-completed fall term. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved high grades during a single semester.
In order to be included in the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean's High Honors.

Eastern Students Study in London and Paris
This past May, 16 students from Eastern Connecticut State University took a two-week global field course in London and Paris. The course, International Advertising and Public Relations (COM 370), focused on advertising strategies for international consumers within the context of the global market. The trip also included tours of well-known companies and cultural sites.

Psychological Science Night at Eastern
The Psychology Department and Psychology Club at Eastern Connecticut State University co-sponsored the first ever Psychological Science Night on Dec. 10 in the Student Center. Through poster and oral presentations, the event showcased the undergraduate research of 60 students in Eastern's psychology program.

Eric Crevoiserat of Glastonbury, Conn., Named to NSCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-New England Third Team
Crevoiserat, a NEWMAC All-Conference first team selection, scored three goals, including a pair of penalty kicks (2-for-2), and totaled 11 points during the regular season. He later headed in the decisive marker versus Coast Guard to send the Engineers their first-ever NEWMAC Men's Soccer Championship title match.

Eastern Students Study Tropical Rainforests in Costa Rica
This past May, 14 students from Eastern Connecticut State University visited Costa Rica for 12 days to study tropical biology. The trip focused on the basic aspects of tropical rainforest ecology and the natural history of tropical organisms.
