The following students have been named to Dean's List at Western New England for the fall semester of 2014. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

The following students have been named to the President's List at Western New England for the fall semester of 2014. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that the following students qualified for the Fall 2014 Dean's List.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2014-15 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

More than 400 Nichols students have earned Dean's List or Dean's High Honors during the just-completed fall term. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved high grades during a single semester. In order to be included in the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean's High Honors.

Spring Dean's List 2014

This past May, 16 students from Eastern Connecticut State University took a two-week global field course in London and Paris. The course, International Advertising and Public Relations (COM 370), focused on advertising strategies for international consumers within the context of the global market. The trip also included tours of well-known companies and cultural sites.

The Psychology Department and Psychology Club at Eastern Connecticut State University co-sponsored the first ever Psychological Science Night on Dec. 10 in the Student Center. Through poster and oral presentations, the event showcased the undergraduate research of 60 students in Eastern's psychology program.

Crevoiserat, a NEWMAC All-Conference first team selection, scored three goals, including a pair of penalty kicks (2-for-2), and totaled 11 points during the regular season. He later headed in the decisive marker versus Coast Guard to send the Engineers their first-ever NEWMAC Men's Soccer Championship title match.

New students at Eastern Connecticut State University have been accepted and enrolled into the University's selective Honors Program.

From May 15-30, Eastern Connecticut State University spent two weeks in Poland and Hungary on a global field course called "The Nazi Aftermath in Central Europe: History, the Media and the Holocaust."

From May 17-28, Eastern Connecticut State University took a global field course in Zurich, Switzerland and London, England to learn about the cities' business practices, marketing approaches and cultural history.

This past May, 14 students from Eastern Connecticut State University visited Costa Rica for 12 days to study tropical biology. The trip focused on the basic aspects of tropical rainforest ecology and the natural history of tropical organisms.

Crevoiserat scored in the sixth minute to propel Men's Soccer to a 1-0 shutout over Coast Guard in the semifinals of the NEWMAC Tournament at Wheaton on Saturday afternoon.

NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honorees have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2014 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at his or her institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Eastern recently released its list of newly enrolled students for the fall 2014 semester.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to recipients with a 3.30 or higher grade-point average while enrolled in 3.75 or more course hours.

Each of the endowed scholarship funds requires that recipients demonstrate outstanding character, academic achievement, and potential for contribution to society; some have additional requirements for eligibility.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,000 undergraduates have qualified for the Spring 2014 Dean's List. The students represent all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, many other states and more than a dozen countries. More than half of the students are Rhode Islanders.

The following students will attend Union College in the fall as members of the Class of 2018.

This achievement is awarded to students who have participated in Eastern's clubs during the academic year. The student club programs range from social to educational, physical to spiritual, and civic engagement programs that equally affect the Eastern community.
